|WELCOMES THANK YOUS HOLIDAYS BIRTHDAYS ANNIVERSARIES GIFTS AWARDS MISC|
Let's have fun.
We'll scare oursevles before we're done
with ghosts and goblins, winds that howl
things that fly and things that prowl.
We'll talk about such creepy stuff,
until we all get scared enough
to hear the things we cannot see,
and see the things that just can't be.
Let's be spooky, you and me.
Your Secret Pal "Spooky Friend"
|When black cats prowl and
May luck be yours on Halloween.
Your "Spooky Friend"
|I am a pumpkin, big and round
Once upon a time I grew in the ground, but
Now I have a mouth, two eyes and a nose
What are they for, do you suppose?
When I have a candle, inside shining bright
I'll be a jack-o-lantern on Halloween Night
from Your Spooky Friend
|On Halloween the thing you must
Is pretend that nothing can frighten you
And if something scares you and you want to run
Just let on like it's Halloween fun.
From your Spooky Friend
|Hey-how for Halloween
A' the witches tae be seen
Some are black, an' some green
Hey-how for Halloween.
(old Scottish traditional words)
From your Secret Pal "Spooky Friend"
|From ghoulies and ghosties
And long-leggedy beasties
And things that go bump in the night,
Good Lord, deliver us!
witches go riding and black cats are seen,
The moon laughs and whispers "tis near Halloween.
|The witches fly across the sky,
The owls go "who, who, who?"
The black cats yowl
And green ghosts howl "scary Halloween to you"
Your Spooky Friend
Jack-o-lanterns burning bright
Of soft and golden hue
Pierce through the future's veil and show
What fate now holds for you.
The month is amber,
Gold, and brown.
Blue ghosts of smoke
Float through the town.
Great V's of geese
And maples turn
a fiery red.
Frost bites the lawn,
The stars are slits
In a black cat's eye
Before she spits.
At last, small witches,
And pirates armed
With paper bags.
Their costumes hinged
on safety pins,
Go haunt a night
Of pumpkin grins.

Footprints on the Heart
Some people come into our lives and go quickly go.
Some people move our souls to dance.
They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom.
Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.
They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts
And we are never, ever the same.
Seeds of Promise
Golden beams of joy
Illuminate the day
Transform to a fragile flower
Intricate lacy patterns
Woven with gossamer threads of dreams.
Visible for those with feelings,
hidden from those with none.
Whispers on the breeze of promise
Seeds scatter cast on the wind.
Spreading wishes and dreams
messengers of hope and renewal.
A promise of new life, of beginnings.

Bye for now
If you see someone without a smile -- give them yours.
morning we are handed 24 golden hours.
They are one of the few things in this world that we get free of charge.
If we had all the money in the world, we couldn't buy an extra hour.
What will we do with this priceless treasure?
